Start Writing and Illustrating Picture Books (Six Week Course)

There’s a book in everybody and I love encouraging others to try their hand in this creative experience where you will gain practical skills and a deeper understanding of what makes a great picture book!
Over the course of this masterclass, you’ll delve into discovering your own unique visual language, creating characters, writing for picture books, designing storyboards, to developing a dummy book and sending it out to publishers.
Adults of all experience levels are welcome, as classes will be adapted to everyone’s individual needs. It begins on zoom, 27th of February for six weeks, 19:00 - 20:30, and is limited to a small class of just fifteen participants.*
COURSE CONTENT
Week 1: Exploring Your Visual Language
Week 2: Character Design
Week 3: Writing for Children's Books
Week 4: Storyboarding
Week 5: Book Cover Design and Dummy Books
Week 6: The Publishing Industry Insights
Location: Zoom online ( a LIVE 1 hour presentation, followed by up to 30 minutes Q+A)
